The Board meets monthly, every second Monday at 7pm, to oversee the operation of the Fire District and to create procedures and policies for the Fire District and Otterkill Engine Company #1. As elected officials, we are mindful of the fiduciary responsibility to the taxpayers of the Hamptonburgh Fire District.  We are tasked with the duty of auditing monthly bills and preparing the budget, for the Fire District.  When preparing the budget, we are given strict guidelines by the State of New York, to follow.
